Mommy decided to take me to my first fireworks show. I was so excited to
go to the "Fire Park" or the "Fire Place"! Once there, I had a great time
playing on the playground, and then when it got dark we sat on our blanket and
watched the show. I was a very vocal spectator. Luna (the moon) was very
bright and right next to the fireworks - they were "sprinkling the moon" and
also "cracking the sky". As the show continued, I decided to shout out
"stop" for every red firework and "go" for every green one. And there were
lots of red and green ones...June 29, 2009
Today I got to ride my new big wheel for the first time. I picked up on
the pedaling pretty quickly, but steering was a little harder. I made it
around the lake twice (0.7 mi ea) - once with Mommy and Great Grandma, and then
a little later with Grandma & Grandpa Brown, too.

We went shopping for sandals today. Closed toe ones so I don't mangle my
toes. We didn't have much luck. At the sixth store, mommy and daddy
decided on the Crocs instead (even though Mommy swore she wouldn't buy me them).
Real Crocs. They fit and were cheaper than sandals. I'm so excited!
"Crocs, Crocs, Crocs!" I wore them out of the store and kept mentioning
"my Crocs" as we walked around Aurora Farms. (I think this is the only
name brand I know of anything.)

Ahhh... I have such creative culinary tendencies... Today for breakfast I
had blueberry waffles with crunchy peanut butter and topped with kiwi.
And didn't drop a single piece of kiwi!

Mom & I went to the "Halloween at the Farm" sponsored by CWRU. We went on
a hay ride. I wasn't too sure what was going to happen at first and wasn't
sure I was going to like it, but then we started going and as I sat in Mommy's
lap I got to watch the big tractor in front of us and we went riding through the
fields.

We got our first snow of the year today. An inch or two on the ground.
I really liked it, playing with the snow on the azaleas on the way to the car,
and then playing with it again once at school.

I have a very good imagination. Today, my pretzels were horses, sheep,
pigs, airplane... In the bath, I tried laying on my stomach for the first
time. I haven't tried dipping my face in the water like my cousin Kylie
loves to do.
